Hello, I recently bought a G29 steering wheel with which I had a lot of problems, unfortunately, but on Polish pages there is rare information on how to fix this type of fault, so I would like to post a how to fix three faults with which I had direct contact when connecting to a PC.

1. HANDLEBAR LOCKED OR STRONG RESISTANCE:
All keys work and the steering wheel does not rotate? It turns out that the feedback option turned on in the steering wheel. This is because the steering wheel is very hard to walk, so it is not locked and you just have to pull very hard to the left or right because it is very difficult to move it because two motors connected in the middle that create resistance which switched itself to 100% operation. To turn off this option you have to do it through the settings in the game> controller configuration it is best to return to the default settings in the game if the game is supported by logitech then the default settings will fix the control.
2. DOES NOT DETECT THE STEERING WHEEL:
If you are not detected by the steering wheel in the device manager (from the administrator level), you need to start the computer from a clean boot, it means that when you start the computer, unnecessary windows programs and applications do not open at startup (e.g. Skype etc.). However, only the most important drivers in the computer start up, which should not block the installation of steering wheel controllers, drivers from the steering wheel after connecting via USB 2.0 to the computer should automatically load in. There are currently no drivers for this steering wheel on the manufacturer's website.
To check if your software can see the steering wheel at all, enter the device manager by the administrator and look for the G29 folder tab, expand it, right-click and click update driver, if the latest steering wheel software is already available, disconnect and connect the steering wheel to the computer (waiting 10s) all Drivers and the latest version should detect itself and automatically again when connected via USB 2.0 to a computer.
3. HANDLEBAR CALIBRATION:
From the manufacturer's website you can download Logitech gaming Software that allows or
click the windows logo on the keyboard + R. and enter joy.cpl, select the G29 controller from the available devices and configure according to the instructions.
If the problems still occur, it is worth checking the voltage from the power supply should flow around 24V, if there is not enough power then two motors in the steering wheel will not have enough power to operate, then it is worth disconnecting the power supply from the extension cord and plug it directly into the socket. If none of these solutions helps, call Logitech Technical Support.
