In previous versions of Windows, the balance was set with a slider - more to the left or more to the right, and it worked as it should. In Windows 10, you need to enter the sound settings, the properties of the playback device, the levels tab and only there you will find the balance settings - separately for each channel. I need a setting, e.g. right speaker 25% left 50%. I often need to change the volume in Windows and this is where the problem arises. As long as we turn the volume up, the balance is kept. If you turn down the volume at 25% volume, the right speaker goes silent completely (sets to 0%). By reducing the volume to 0% and wanting to set it to, for example, 2% - the balance settings disappear and again both sides play loud at the same time. Anyone know a way to do this?

External to USB, USB pnp sound device, one of the cheaper Chinese. Which does not change the fact that the built-in problem looks exactly the same - Realtek High Definition Audio. If the problem did not occur on the built-in one, I would use the headphone output, but unfortunately it looks exactly the same for the Lenovo Y700-17 laptop. There was also the SimpleSndVol program for previous Windows systems, but in Windows 10, unfortunately, it does not work and I do not know any alternatives, hence this topic. I count on hints wiser than me on these topics :)

Problem solved. The Volume program is compatible with Windows 10 2 . It works perfectly, it does what it needs to do. I recommend.
