    Hello everyone,
I want to buy a sheet metal welder somewhere from 0.5 to 2 mm or 3 mm profiles, of course, festive sometimes in the garage for myself. I am thinking about the models:
    - Magnum MIG MMA 170W IGBT
    - Ideal Praktik MIG MMA 200 IGBT

Has anyone dealt with these two models and could say whether it is worth it and how with the failure rate and the welding itself. I am asking for some advice.

I was working with the Bester 1801 welding machine every day, can it be compared to the above-mentioned models at all?

    greetings

I have been using the ideal migomat for 2 years, although I do not weld much, I finish the second roll of wire. But I can recommend the zero problems door to door guarantee. As for me, I have a problem-free migomat, I also have a TIG ideala, and a smiga, I have exactly this model https://specnarzedzia.pl/mig-mag/6364-ideal-praktik-mig-200-igbt-spawarka-inwertorowa.html. Most of the tools are made in China, uncle, on the other hand, has an ideal welding machine for several years and he also had a lot of electrodes without any problems and he does not complain, I can also recommend :)

Thanks for the answer, I just wanted this model, only the one I want to buy has MIG and MMA welding methods
Have you welded with some other equipment, e.g. a bester, and could you compare? or have you welded thin sheets, e.g. from 0.6 to 1 mm, does it not burn holes like some Chinese? and do you use Argon + Co2 mix or just Co2?

I am not a welder, but exhausts or recently I did an air inlet on the hood and welding of the bonnet and thin sheet metal, it was ok for me. As for the comparison, I can compare it to 2 other bests, but the old model is quite a few years old and it has had a lot of sleep and for me it welds much worse, as if it would weld with a lower current, I also welded some German equipment but worth a few thousand and that welded even better. I only use CO2. Buddy, I speak as a layman, I mainly do in motorbikes, I weld some exhaust, handle, etc. and for me, the ideal weld is ok, but you know I welded off 2 spools of wire, so I'm far from professed but I don't complain about the ideal

From what the guys from a friendly workshop say - they weld practically nonstop - these are comparable equipment in terms of quality.
