I have a KDL 55w809c and the same problem. Could anyone briefly describe how I can try to upload soft from a pendrive?

You format the pendrive, preferably 2 GB, download the soft from the Sony website, unpack the file, copy to the pendrive, TV disconnected from the power supply, insert the pendrive into the usb port, connect the TV to the power supply and wait for the result, but I suspect it will not work because the memory is physically damaged and not adopting the software.

A new functional one should work like that, but not from the pendrive, but the programmer and of course the appropriate batch. I don't have the TV I wrote about at the beginning, so I can't check it.

Gentlemen, I have a Sony KDL-55W808C TV and I have the same problem as the colleague who founded this post. The TV is 3 months after the warranty, I called the Sony service and the repair cost was estimated at PLN 1600 !!! (it's a joke). I do not know how to repair such electronics, can anyone tell me which of these 3 modules (unfortunately I can not paste the link, but the photo shows the board and 2 other modules plugged into it) is responsible for the described symptoms? Maybe there is a chance to buy a disc / module somewhere for reasonable money and replace this element in my TV (it does not require specialist knowledge - it is just about replacing the module / board. Or maybe there is a person who will repair this TV (of course for a fee) .

A few days ago, the tv lost WIFI connectivity, but I did not care about the topic and only today, after unsuccessful attempts to find the WIFI signal using the TV menu, I decided to restore the TV to the factory settings (option in the menu) And the meatball. Runs over and over (white LED). Hard reset (holding VOL - and Power on TV also does not work) The green LED lights up but the TV cannot start anyway and enters the same looped dead mode Anyone found a solution ?? Hello, it is already possible to successfully repair the software on Sony motherboards, also for this model. There is no longer any need to pay such heaps for replacing the entire disc. I have described it in the thread below. I know that the Sony Central Service already has such possibilities.
