You can do this, but you must give power (L) to both switches.

Zyzy52 but YOU powered the loads from different cans (switches) and the original post was different - both lighting from one off. There, in the diagram, this N was somehow drawn strangely and it can be misleading. I do not write anything about the lack of protection - because it is obvious that there must be such and by oversight it is not included in the draft.

I drew this because the author wanted to have the lamps connected separately to each switch. In addition, it is possible that he will have power from the same circuit (fuse) at the second can, he did not write anything about it. In the end, there is no other way to do this. I omitted the protection in the drawing on purpose, so as not to obscure the scheme, it is known that it should be.
