NICE remote gate and lighting control - integration and applications

In my opinion, you are starting from the end. You should have established your needs first and only then bought the right components and so you will have to combine.

I am writing this because I actually have it made at my place just as you want to make it yourself. The integration of the individual functions will be problematic. The intercom is probably the most difficult - that's why I bought an intercom to meet my needs. I bought a VoIP intercom and a PBX (which means that I can redirect the call to my mobile phone and call the door phone from my mobile phone, which allows me to view and let an individual "into the area"). There is an RFID reader (for key fobs) in my intercom right away. Every time the house door, gate or wicket is opened, the lights on the soffit at the front are illuminated and the driveway lights come on.

At my house, the whole thing is controlled by the control panel of the "automatic house". I do not put it outside for security reasons, but connect to the home network via VPN and then have access to everything including the lights "in the driveway" and "in the soffit". Such a connection of course requires a suitable router and preferably a public IP or even better a fixed public IP.

Of course, it is certainly possible to realise all this without a control panel from "automated home" but you still need to have "some software" to handle these functionalities and somehow I don't see how this can be easily done other than on the basis of home automation. Read up on 'domoticz' and 'home assistant'. I think you should put your pillar on one of these software. Once you have chosen the software, you will choose the rest of the solutions under this software (choose the integration of the individual elements).

I don't own any of these software solutions, because my control panel with its own oproamowanie has been enough for me so far, although before I bought it I was trying to use "domoticz". Today, I am trying out home assistant as the master software - I will not be abandoning my current control panel, it will function as the executive element and home assistant will serve as the manager.

If that's the case, I'm sure it will work on both.

With such a "receiver" there will be a problem. However, even in this case it is not clear what the colleague means - a situational description is needed (the colleague wants to have a "remote control" in his pocket and switch the lights on 100m from his house?).
