    Hello,
The ps4 pad stopped charging at some point. It was running but not charging. When it died, I took it to the service technician who replaced the socket. After the replacement, he walked for a day. The service technician said that the socket is unobstructed and the battery is ok. I will add that when you click on the power button, the pad reacts for 5 seconds and goes out. What could be the problem? Could it be the charging system and can it be replaced by myself? Thanks in advance for any tips

It would be necessary to determine what went wrong, maybe it is enough to replace the battery, but also some integrated circuit may be damaged. You can check the battery with a meter to see if there is voltage and what is the value of this voltage.

In theory, the battery voltage was checked by this service technician, so it should be ok, when I was with the others, after what I said, this front black panel was proposed to change, but for PLN 150, I recently found a new one on olx for PLN 116.

Are you trying to repair? If so, you need to measure. Or give it to someone who knows and can remove the fault, maybe the service technician is cheating on you and did something wrong and is afraid to admit it.

So it turns out that I will leave it for parts in case something breaks in the other one.

I have a consideration that the pad did not charge and even on the battery it did not work I prepared a USB cable to the bottom and the pad works shows that it is charging And the battery is not inside and it works :)
