    Good morning,

one of the miniature circuit breakers in the apartment (Elfa E81, B10, the only one with a black label in the photo) was manually turned off by me. I want to turn it on, but when pushed all the way up, the switch position changes to the middle position. There is no current either when I move the switch up, or when it goes down to the middle position (and of course also in the down position). On the perimeter, only light in the room. I tried to turn on the switch from the box with both the light switch in the room on and off.

I have never encountered something like this, Google is silent about it and I have no idea what the middle position of the switch means, why I cannot permanently switch it to the upper position, and why there is no current behind it in any of the positions.

Could someone explain to me what is going on and what to do with this so that the switch works properly?

    Thank you in advance.

Try to turn it on with the power turned off.
If it still does not turn on, it needs to be replaced.

From the middle position down and try up only.
Another possibility is a short circuit in the circuit.

With the power off on the main switch, it does not come on either. So the short circuit rather not, right? Especially since everything was working before I turned it off manually. Am I wrong?
I also tried to switch back to the bottom and turn on after that. Nothing.

In compact circuit breakers and in some installations, the lever moves to the horizontal position after an overload or short-circuit release is actuated. This is a sign that the trigger has been tripped and not manually turned off. After such a release, the lever should be "reset" down and engaged.
If you do not want to stay in the upper position, the drive pawl has probably been damaged. And the exchange.
