Hello, I have a problem. Well, I ordered a new phone display on aliexpress, which cost PLN 103. So it does not exceed this surcharge, duty or whatever it is called, because the limit of the excess is probably PLN 150? And in the aliexpress application I have the status "Shipment unpaid". What does it mean? The deadline for delivery of my parcel is January 20-26, so this week it should already be, but only the status is "cleared". How long will it take, shipment will be on time? And is the package already in Poland? Please reply.

Duty shipment - package from China

After all, it is written that he is in the country. Wait patiently, it will come. The delivery date is rather indicative, and not always the shipment will be delivered on these dates.
Sometimes I already had a shipment in my hands and the status of a customs duty so that the status of shipments from China is not fully covered in real life ..

I understand, and will I get an SMS from Poczta Polska or something to track on the Polish post website tracking? Should I wait patiently for the postman to knock on my door?

    Yes.
It can be called Parcel48 or registered letter.

If the customs office did not inform about additional surcharge, duty or other tax, then you should not add anything to the purchase.

If he informed you, the parcels will not be released as the checkout will not affect their account.

Not. You won't get it, the Post Office does not track shipments from abroad and does not include them in its system. They only have tracking for packages sent to them.

Such a wife on the part of the PRL institution.

I've had PP seals a couple of times. Once or twice, I even had to prove to them that the package arrived and they have it. And it did not work anyway - the package came as it wanted. Once or twice - it just disappeared somewhere in the sorting room.

Once I had such a situation that PP considered the package lost and lost, and two days later the postman surprisingly brought it, and without an advice note ... 8-O

    It remains to wait.

Shipment with tracking, so the post office should enter a confirmation that it has arrived.
Recently I started to get the impression that the destination country is the EU and the customs office is in Liege :)
Because it got there, was cleared, disappeared, and suddenly appeared at my place :)

The duty is paid when picking up the parcel or after some time after it is picked up?

He does not release the package until the cash register is credited to their account. So, rather, before the package is delivered.

Exactly. If they want to declare, you will get info from the US with a request to prove the amount actually paid, e.g. a screenshot from AliExpress. Recently, after such a status, I had another "shipment by a local shipping company" after a few days. It arrived at the parcel locker.

For me, it's been 4 days today when the package is at this customs office or something. What should I do? I checked the number of my parcel for tracking on the Polish postal tracking system and there is no such parcel .. There is no location where my parcel is. What should I do? Wait? And there are no new statuses on Alipaczek. The expected delivery date was January 20-26, so it should be tomorrow or on Friday.

And if I want to send back all the parcels to the sellers, the Tax Office will return the several thousand duties charged to me?

It's more of a question for the US. But from experience, I can tell you that in dealing with this institution, the cash flow goes one way without any problems. In the second one you have to work hard.

Not true, more and more parcels from aliexpress (probably those that have the shipping method as Aliexpress Standard Shipping), after reaching Poland they get a new sticker as parcel24 (or parcel 48 - I do not remember), with a Polish number and then an SMS comes that the parcel has been sent, I usually received such a package within 2-3 days from the moment of the SMS.
You covered the number, but the beginning is 00459 so it indicates the number from the Polish post office as parcel48. So it will be brought to you by a courier who delivers parcels from the post office, if the tracking shows that it has already arrived at your post office, and you know that the courier rarely goes, you can try to come there, maybe it's already waiting for you.

Parcels sent by other methods do not get labels and are brought by the postman from registered mail. Here, too, if the tracking indicates that it has already arrived at your post office, and you know that the postman rarely goes, you can try to visit there, maybe it's already waiting for you.

Giving out is rare, but ovating and proving. If this happens, you will receive information from the post office by registered letter with a photo of the package. This letter may arrive within a few days of the declaration of duty, then either:
    * you send them a scan by e-mail confirming the value of the package, then the package is released for delivery and you pay to the postman when collecting the package,
    * you deal with them personally with a document confirming the value of the package, pay at the cash desk (only in cash) and collect the package immediately.

I have already received a text message from the Polish Post and now I have a problem. On the Polish post office website I went to the postage tab and 'Pocztex Kurier 48' and it said that parcels sent by 3:00 p.m. are still sent on the same day, and today I received a text message from the Polish post office at 12:57 that the parcel has been posted. My question is whether the package will reach me on Friday? Still this week? Only that the tracking of Polish mail only shows the status that the parcel has been sent and the SMS notification has been sent, they probably have not sent it yet. Will someone suggest what it is? The form of my delivery is Poczex Courier 48.

Well, just when I track my parcel, the status is that the parcel was sent to WER WROCŁAW D101, I understand that if it was tomorrow or on Friday in my city, I could drive to the post office and pick it up myself, if the delivery was on Monday the next a week? I must have it this week. Will I have to pay anything at the post office or show something to be able to pick up this parcel at a Polish post office?

After all, there is a chance that it will come without charge. I also had more than once information that it is customs duty, and yet it came without additional charges. The UC only stuck this piece of paper - free of charge. The fact that it was about cheaper shipments than PLN 100, but you can do it too. It's best to wait and do nothing. :)

Mmm - the Chinese are doing well and our customs officers are not keeping up. Recently - I get all Chinese parcels as shipped from the Union - and this is in Spain, and this is in the Netherlands / or whatever its name is /. Or mysteriously broadcast in Oborniki Wielkopolskie.
The last one surprised me - because it came from the Duchy of Luxemburg ...

Ok, do you know any way to avoid ovating when ordering?
I heard that when ordering a phone, it is worth buying, for example, a fast one and buy where there is no free shipping

Call the InPost complaint department, give them the Chinese number. the parcel and it will tell you what happened to it. This was the case in my case, unfortunately, due to the lack of my data as the recipient on the label, the Chinese (InPost) - the sending side were asked to complete them. Because for this there is a period of 30 days, and China has completed the address details for me after this date, the shipment was sent back to the sender by In Post. I opened a dispute with Aliiexpress and got a full refund. best regards

Hey, I advise you to avoid parcels from ali sent to parcel lockers, they probably do not fully understand how it works for us and they give the recipient's details, email and telephone wrongly. The parcel will go to the parcel locker, but then there is no code to pick up and according to information that she was in the parcel locker. Fortunately, InPost corrected the phone number after many calls, sent it again to the parcel locker and I could pick it up. Otherwise, I would have to drive a total of 150 km to pick up in person, PLN 40.

PS I have never had something cleared, etc. However, the option of shipping, for example, from a warehouse in France, was from China, and paid a little more ?

    Probably not.
Track on. Duty + VAT and derivatives, only after prior notification to the letterbox.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user's inquiry regarding the status of a package ordered from AliExpress, specifically a phone display costing PLN 103. The user is concerned about customs duties, as the package is marked "Shipment unpaid" and is currently in customs. Responses clarify that the "cleared" status indicates the package has passed through customs without additional charges, and that the user should expect an SMS from Poczta Polska for tracking. Several participants share experiences with similar shipments, noting that delays are common and that packages may arrive without customs duties if they are below certain thresholds. The conversation also touches on the reliability of tracking systems and the potential for packages to be lost or delayed in transit.
