How long does the package from China take to Poland?

On the Chinese market, you can find interesting electronic components at a favorable price (even after taking into account shipping costs), many people wonder how long it will take to wait for the shipment.
We asked several Chinese companies when their shipments reach Poland.

Low-cost airmail delivers shipments an average of 10-16 days (range 7-30 days).

In the case of DHL or Fedex, shipments arrive on average within 5 days (range 3-7 days).

Companies often have a choice of different postal operators, e.g. China post, Hongkong post, Singapore post. The transport time also depends on the period of the year in which we order the goods and many indirect factors such as the number of orders, customs procedures. Some suppliers' shipments have to travel within China (2-3 days) before they reach their destination in Poland.

The times given above are averaging and work well in most cases,
however, there are rarely situations in which a package can travel almost a month or even 40-50 days to reach Europe.
Should such a situation be feared? You don't just need to be aware that sometimes a package will arrive after a month instead of a week or two.

Will we be able to check where the package is currently?

Yes. In most cases, we will receive a link to the system in which, after entering the tracking number, we can check what is happening with our package.
The package in the Chinese system will usually be visible 2-3 days after the order has been processed.
Usually the first stage will be the status: Received from Customer, or Collection
that is, our package has been accepted for shipment.
The next stage after a few days will be the state: Despatched to overseas
that is, our package set off on a journey to Poland.
Then, after a few or a dozen or so days, the status will appear: Arrived at overseas
that is, our package is already in Poland.

We will have to wait a few more days for the Product Delivered condition,
first, the shipment will be placed under the customs procedure and the goods contained in the package will be released for free circulation, then the package will travel around Poland.

Initially, we will be able to track the shipment in the Chinese system, e.g. www.singpost.com or www.17track.net/en/, then the shipment may also be visible in the Polish system, e.g. www.poczta-polska.pl.

Initially, in Poland, the parcel will move along the WER _nazwa_miasta_ (Forwarding and Distribution Junction), then it can move through the UP (Post Offices) to reach our door.

What is worth paying attention to when receiving electronics from China.

Payments: most often they are made using the paypal service.

Address: it is worth entering the name of the street and city without Polish characters, if you live in a block of flats and the system does not accept the "/" sign, you can enter "m" between the block and the apartment number, eg 5m10 instead of 5/10.

Contact: it is important to provide a mobile phone number in the correct format + 48XXXXXXXXX to enable contact to a person who has doubts about our shipment. Let us provide the e-mail and telephone number we use, thanks to which we will not miss any information.

    Additional fees.

Usually, when ordering a small amount of cheap components by a hobbyist, a package will cost as much as the value of the goods and transport costs, but with a higher value of the order, additional costs may appear.

Below is the information that was found on the web.

Additional fees may be charged in accordance with applicable rules,
which often change, therefore the following information should be treated as a guide and all charges related to the shipment should be determined on your own.

If the value of the shipment does not exceed EUR 10, exemption from value added tax (VAT) and customs duty may be applied for mail order sales.

Occasionally you can get free samples of products, for such items VAT may not be charged up to a value of 22 EUR.

If we receive a gift from a private friend, VAT may not be charged for the value of the goods up to 45 EUR.

If the value of a shipment from an online store to an individual does not exceed EUR 150 but exceeds EUR 10, an exemption from customs duty may be applied, but VAT will be charged.

For some goods, the duty is 0%.

The duty is calculated on the customs value of the goods (value on the invoice + costs related to the import of the goods to the EU border, i.e. transport costs, insurance, packaging, etc.).

VAT is charged on the customs value plus customs duty.

In the case of courier companies, a fee may be charged for customs clearance performed in their scope.

So far, I have a few packages from dhgate.com and not a single problem yet. There was always a $ 5 declared value on the box, and so far everything has been passed through the (un) customs row without any problem.

I order quite a lot of items from China. Shipments usually arrive in 10-14 days. The record is 7 days. The longest is 43 days, but this is due to the content of LiPo batteries and they had to go through Sweden by sea.

Roulette is going through the Customs Office. Often, the declared value is underestimated by up to 70%, which is convenient for the buyer. I do not know how they decide about the customs clearance of the parcel and I will probably never know. A package of the size of a 20x20x20 cube fell to me for customs clearance, and for example a package with dimensions of 150cmx50x40 was exempt from fees, despite the fact that the declared amount was greater than on the first one.

For most of the 48 orders completed over two years, the standard waiting time is 3 weeks when choosing a free shipment. If someone dreams of a Christmas gift, the only sensible way is to order it in mid-November. In the case of aliexpress, the matter is so cool that if we do not confirm the receipt and it coincides with the status of the package (the Chinese wanted to cheat), the money will be returned to us. A bit like the Allegro but even better. If the Chinese sent the parcel, which can be seen from the status of the parcel, but he did it with a delay and our parcel did not reach us in accordance with the date proposed by the seller ... you must not agree because if the package is lost, we will be left with nothing.

I have 4 orders from aliexpress behind me and I must say that either I am unlucky or it is not as beautiful as you write ;) Out of 4 orders, one package did not reach me at all .. Efficiency 75% :P Besides, I waited a month the shortest, and two the longest. So this is what it looks like. A big plus is that this website has much better consumer protection than our native Allegro and I recovered my money for a parcel that did not arrive without any problems. An interesting fact is that 3 completed packages were sent using ChinaPost AirMail. However, the one that did not come from WeDoExpress. And what's even more interesting in tracking the package, the last entry says that it is already in Poland and that was the end of it .. And I do not know if my package traveled half the world without any problems to be stolen in Poland, whether they returned the package to China, or WeDo tracking lying .. For the sake of clarity, I always ordered electronics worth

I ordered a lot of things, most often small parts, such as modules for microprocessors, integrated circuits, some peltiers - I waited a month for the longest (the package arrived on the last day declared by the Chinese, but he said that if he did not arrive, he would send the second one - it arrived ;) ) I never hit that something would not happen

A colleague once went a little too far and bought modeling equipment (parts for the quadrocpotera) and they sent him in a large package - the effect is a customs duty and he paid the same as he would pay in a normal Polish store.

An important issue is marking shipments as a gift / sample (free samples not for commercial release). Parcels sent in this way should be exempt from customs duties (this is how I received various equipment for testing).

Here is a curiosity - a package from the USA, equipment for testing, worth about $ 200, I get a call that I have to pay DUTY and VAT ... Customs officials say that it is not marked that Free Sample (and this is exempt from customs and VAT regardless of the value parcels) ... After a few hours of calling (time zones, etc.), the sender declared duty coverage, etc. - the package arrived, I open, look at the documents - like a bull written Free Sample, Not for comercial release, Roadtest ...

Could it be some stretching in the majesty of the law

I bought a voltage converter with a USB socket for PLN 4, the package was a month, the success is that such a small package was not lost via fasttech.com :) Another time, the smartphone (the cheapest SIII 4 inch fake with WiFi TV) arrived after 11 days via Aliexpress.com :)

It is not possible to pay via PayPal on Aliexpress.

    Hello,

@traker - this was the reason for me to buy ali and olania on ebay with paypal (it is too expensive), it is cheaper to pay with a card in the currency of the quotation date. Paypal not only inflates the rate, but also adds a commission ...

Ad. time of delivery of parcels, the parcel came to me the fastest in less than 2 weeks, and the longest is after one and a half months. Once I did not receive the parcel because the seller mixed up the addresses and sent my parcel to Austria: /.

I also bought a smaller number of parts once (the seller offered only 50 pieces), but I managed to get along with him in such a way that: I bought an item (a set of 50 pieces), then he (the seller) manually changed the amount to be paid in my order, which then I paid and got as many items as I bargained for :)

Parcels arrive the fastest in the pre-Christmas period, the longest around summer. As long as I check the status of the package (I usually use the website: http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php " target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener ugc" class="postlink inline" title="" > http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php ) the parcel is probably in the post office and can be passed through the "export scan" several times: /. As soon as it goes to the airlines, within max. I have her at home for the week.

Ad. address and a slash - I have no problems, the package always reaches me.

Another drawback of buying from Chinese is a matter of getting along, as if in English, but their English from google translate can be more incomprehensible than many Polish dialects :D

Happy Holidays and enjoy your shopping! :)

The rates differ, but you can always tell PayPal to charge in euros / dollars and then MastetCard / Visa takes care of the conversion, which is usually much cheaper

    In fact, I was wrong.

So what's the cheapest thing to do shopping there? Is it possible to make a purchase without a credit card? Maybe someone has a millennium in the bank and knows what it is like to use this bank.

I can see that there are a lot of people here who order from China, I am just buying goods for a little larger sums because the purchases are going to the company for sale. Currently, I use paypal, unfortunately it is terribly expensive and now I have a question for you, do you know a Polish bank where transfers go to China without intermediary banks? Or maybe you know any foreign bank that has this option?

I have a fountain pen from China for 3 months now. In the meantime, the seller reportedly sent them back, but still no widu. This is the first time I have had this situation. I normally get parcels after 7-14 days.

I order an average of 3 parcels per month - they always arrive within about 3 weeks (free delivery).
eBay + PayPal + sellers with a lot (tens of thousands) of positive feedback = safe transaction ... at least so far.

I had the other way around, when I was buying on ebay, 3 were delivered for 5 packages, and the rest of them were ignored, if I wanted to follow the seller, the seller wanted from 3 to 10 green more - I will not pay extra for what I have as standard on ali. Additionally, the seller has to enter the parcel number on aliexpress and the shipping is also free (there is no other cheapest shipping option).

In my case, maybe they returned to China (which I doubt) rather the postman stole because he knew that I was leaving for a long time, so I advise you to give only 100% of the pickup address. Although it was a letter and he could have thrown in. However, at my foreign address of 100, 1-2 will be the sender's fault. A e.g. post office in the UK. works flawlessly, even when no one is at home, there is also no domestic shipments (for 5000 shipments everything is ok, unless there is an obvious mistake in addressing).

I use a debit (currency) card from the t-mobile banking service. It can also be a currency from mbank. I have t-mobile, because it costs nothing to have an account and a card. Currency conversion in an online exchange office. Paying is almost the same as with payu on the Allegro.
I'm talking about aliexpress all the time.

I got a virtual currency card at m-bank (I got plastic by mail but there is no chip or magnetic strip, only plastic). I can use it to conveniently pay in USD on Aliexpress. Manufacturing cost PLN 25 at a time + some less significant maintenance fees.

I order on dx.com and they have free shipping - you buy parts for $ 1-3 and pay nothing for delivery :D The time is 3-4 weeks, at least once (but it happened from Ebay) the parcel did not arrive for so long that I thought it was lost and the seller sent it a second time (believing "on his word", the first parcel arrived two days later)

When it comes to paying, I recommend "plastic-free internet card" - it is a virtual Master Card, but with pre-payment and without the possibility of making an overdraft (I think), I also just pay with the card and use it to finalize the transaction, I don't have to be afraid that something goes wrong.

What is the type of international shipment that goes to the box? Usually by courier.

I always order free shipping to Poland. Yesterday, 3 parcels in the box, today one delivery note. I picked up the package and it is "R" or registered. All similar, differ only in the letter R.
