Effective Methods for Removing White Technical Plasticine from Painted Plastic

My casing is stained with white technical plasticine (?)

I tried freezing it and peeling it off but it didn`t help.
Then hot water and soap, it became a thick goop but it didn`t come off.

But even with Ludwik the painting may suffer.

Virtually every plasticine contains some fat. Try lubricating the area with regular kitchen dishwashing liquid, with or without dilution, and just wash it off. If necessary, repeat the operation. Some clays also contain other ingredients that will not be affected by detergent. Then you can try using some colorless alcohol (e.g. isopropanol) to wash off the remains or spray generously with deodorant (contains alcohol) and wipe gently with a soft cloth.
But be careful with alcohol because some plastics react with it and you may end up with a stain. It`s best to test it in a place where it won`t cause any harm. It is always worth testing before using any cleaning agent. I cleaned a lot of items this way.

Another option - oil (rapeseed). The thin goo that will form can be wiped off the roll with a paper towel.

The plasticizer in plasticine is Vaseline, so you can use it to thin it out and collect it with tissue paper.

I remember the lady of the house`s recipe, namely mayonnaise 😁, it contains fats and vinegar, but it`s just a curiosity when we don`t have other professional products at hand.
And to remove fats, I have been using Sgrassatore Universale Marsiglia Chanteclair for several years, available at Leclerc or Western chemical stores.
