    Hello
Only FusionSolar has been crashing all the time and unable to login.
    He's not very good.
    And there is nothing better?
Even in the inverter, they did not give any display.
An inverter for thousands of dollars, and savings on the display for a few zlotys!

I do not need a display there, there is the Fusion Solar app, they are currently changing the server because of problems with using it, by the end of April it should be ok.
There's a Sun 2000 app that logs directly to the inverter, there's a Fusion Home app that does the same thing as SUN 2000.

I do not need the display either, but it could be for that crazy money what it costs.
But the app sucks from the start, and I've had solar farm for over a year.
So when will it finally work properly?

After all, I wrote above that by the end of April, Huawei will switch to a new server and the troubles should end, then the Fusion Solar app should be updated to a completely new one, we will see how it will look in practice.

Without exaggeration, they are more expensive, they are worse and basically when it does its job it is ok, the matter of the application is a separate topic, but it goes better, I am optimistic and I advise you to be one too, life is then easier, more pleasant, more sunny ;) .

Ok, if I have been waiting so long, I will wait until the beginning of May. Nothing will happen to me.
So when there is a new application in the download store, it will be known that it is already peppered?

Probably yes, but you can download from the attachment below, after download change the extension from * rar to * apk.
    Attachments:
    • com.huawei.smartpvms.2103051446.rar (92.69 MB) You must be logged in to download this attachment.

Today (4/23/2021) I installed. I do not know about you, but I have a message saying that I should connect my phone to the Internet (I will add that I am still connected to the Internet). It is not possible to log in on both WIFI and data transmission.

You would have to change the server on the inverter from "intl.fusionsolar.huawei.com" to "intlobt.fusionsolar.huawei.com", then the app will work, for how long I do not know because until 28-04-2021 Huawei changes the server to which it is not known.

I changed this server address in this blue app and it still doesn't work and can't connect.
I will see how it will be tomorrow.
Anything else that needs to be done?

And it won't work, for a simple reason, Huawei performs a system update, below info from them.

"For a better user and service experience, we are updating the system from 6:00 PM April 23, 2021 to 8:00 AM April 26, 2021. During this period, you will not be able to log into the system. You must update your FusionSolar application after the upgrade is complete. We are sorry for any associated inconvenience. "

Okay, we'll see how it works tomorrow.
I think it will be fine in the end.
So this orange application will be outdated, only the blue one?

Thanks for the app file, it helped me how good there are such people.

Huawei continues to update servers until 4/27/21 at 8.00

Still won't connect. The user or password is invalid.
As I enter the login in the e-mail address format, because I was logging in all the time, it is impossible.
    What's in this situation?

Please try again with the intl.fusionsolar.huawei.com server. I log in, although the data is downloaded with a delay.

Hello, it is rather worse at the moment, it is still slow - or it does not work.
In addition, I do not know if you can believe in the truth of the current gain, because the value minus the inverter current consumption (about 4%) and the maximum possible current production by the inverter (in my case with the inverter 5 max it is 5.5 and it shows as much as the panels do).

    greetings

Topic summary

✨ The discussion centers around recommended applications for monitoring Huawei inverters, specifically the FusionSolar app. Users express frustration with the app's performance, including frequent crashes and login issues. Huawei's official recommendation is to use the FusionSolar app, which requires proper configuration and connection to the inverter. Users mention alternative apps like Sun 2000 and Fusion Home, which also interface with the inverter. There are ongoing server updates by Huawei aimed at improving app functionality, with users hopeful for better performance post-update. Some users report issues with server connections and login credentials, indicating a need for troubleshooting during the transition period.

FAQ

TL;DR: Use Huawei FusionSolar for monitoring; during 18:00 Apr 23–08:00 Apr 26 maintenance, logins failed; "You must update your FusionSolar application after the upgrade is complete." [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19400170]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps Huawei SUN2000 owners choose the right app and fix login/monitoring issues fast.

Quick Facts

How do I preview daily production and performance?

Configure the inverter and connect it to the FusionSolar service. Then sign in to FusionSolar (web or app) to monitor your plant. Daily performance becomes available after successful commissioning and binding. [Elektroda, noogi, post #18539448]

Which app connects directly to the inverter (no cloud)?

Use the SUN2000 app to log directly to the inverter. FusionHome offers the same local functionality. “There’s a Sun 2000 app that logs directly to the inverter.” [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19392498]

FusionSolar keeps crashing or won’t log in—are there better options?

For local checks, use SUN2000 or FusionHome to bypass the cloud. For cloud monitoring, stay with FusionSolar while Huawei completes server changes. “By the end of April it should be ok.” [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19392498]

Why do I get “Connect your phone to the Internet” although I am online?

Huawei performed a system update that temporarily blocked logins. The window ran from 18:00 Apr 23 to 08:00 Apr 26. “During this period, you will not be able to log into the system.” Update the app after the upgrade. [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19400170]

How do I change the FusionSolar server URL on my Huawei inverter?

During the migration, switching servers restored access for some users.
  1. Connect to the inverter with the installer app.
  2. Change server from “intl.fusionsolar.huawei.com” to “intlobt.fusionsolar.huawei.com”.
  3. Save, reconnect, and retry the app. [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19396572]

After the upgrade, which server URL should I use?

Use intl.fusionsolar.huawei.com. Logins work, but data may refresh slowly. “I log in, although the data is downloaded with a delay.” [Elektroda, donpablo, post #19403642]

I see “User or password is invalid” right after the upgrade—what should I do?

Wait until the maintenance window ends and update the FusionSolar app. Huawei stated an app update was required after the upgrade. This resolved post-migration access for many. “You must update your FusionSolar application after the upgrade is complete.” [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19400170]

Will a new app version in the store mean the backend is ready?

A store release was used as a readiness signal during the cutover. You can also sideload the provided file by renaming .rar to .apk. “After download change the extension from .rar to .apk.” [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19392942]

Why can reported power exceed my inverter’s rating or seem too low?

Displayed gains can exclude inverter self-consumption, about 4% in one user’s case. Brief peaks (for example, 5.5 kW on a 5 kW inverter) may appear due to array-side readings. Treat live figures cautiously during platform issues. [Elektroda, pined, post #19406934]

When will the FusionSolar platform work properly again?

Huawei planned a server switch by the end of April with an app refresh. “By the end of April, Huawei will switch to a new server and the troubles should end.” [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19392893]

My data updates slowly after logging in—is that expected now?

Yes, shortly after logins resumed, users observed delayed data. This typically stabilizes after the backend cutover completes. “I log in, although the data is downloaded with a delay.” [Elektroda, donpablo, post #19403642]

Do Huawei inverters have a built-in display, or is the app the display?

Many installations rely on the app instead of an onboard display. One user noted they don’t need a display thanks to FusionSolar and SUN2000. Local access substitutes for a screen. [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19392498]

Is the orange FusionHome app obsolete, or is only the blue app supported?

FusionHome remains usable and serves the same role as the SUN2000 app. Both connect directly to the inverter for local checks and setup. [Elektroda, rokbok, post #19392498]
