    Hi,
I have a problem. I moved to the countryside and there is a tragedy with the internet. No local (radio) provider operates here, so I have some LTE left. Which questions to choose? And how do you find out which one is the best?
    My GPS location: 53.114623, 22.148562

I am asking for advice on how to find the best supplier.

I used to play radio, I had to mount the antenna on the roof on a meter boom by eye. But it was a one-time jump because the limit on BTS quickly ended, that's what they called it, I don't know if it was the correct form and it turned out that at the end of the month I was sitting without a net, but when I watched movies over and over the Internet, it was a moment and there was no Internet, back to topic I stayed with orange on the telecommunications cable.
In your position, he found out whether the neighbors have radio or cable internet.

Assuming that there is a telephone line in this village, then there is an option in the form of Neostrada up to 100 Mb / s from Orange (best to call Orange and find out if Neostrada is reaching there). Forget about the Internet via satellite because during each stronger storm, the signal will fade to 0. And after each stronger wind, you have to set up the antenna again (my friend had such internet until he had a cable connection around 2010 and he lives in Jelenia Góra).

Village, Neostrada, up to 100Mb - in life.
It will look like this: village, Neostrada, gusts TO 10Mb with the option of cutting from time to time by DSLAM.

Cases with individuals are not the rule or determinant of anything.

If we are talking about LTE internet - please wait for a colleague to appear in the topic @ matek451 (knows LTE internet like hardly anyone).

    Hello all.
I have LTE from "orange" at home: with an external antenna on the roof - the distance from the BTS is about 4-5 km. 16-19Mbit in gusts :( . YT in 4k you can forget what a buffer is every now and then. 150GB limit, no problem, there are months where I have a transfer of 500GB and more, the internet has never slowed down. Sometimes the transfer rate drops sharply to 1Mbit, I have to reset the router and it keeps going.
But they do not install optical fibers for long, it will be better :)

In this location, the choice of a mobile operator is obvious, although it should be noted that the location is not easy, the nearest Play base stations, because he has a definite advantage there, is 5-6 km, so an effective directional antenna will be needed. At the beginning, you should perform a test on the Play card, preferably the InK 9 z10GB Internet starter, it can also be a voice test with an Internet package. Outdoor test using an LTE Android phone with the application https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.mroczis.netmonster&hl=pl and show a screen from it and some speedtest. The nearest Play base stations are Konarzyce and Nowe Wyrzyki, typical rural Play stations with aggregation of 3 LTE1800 + 2100 + 800 bands, i.e. 30MHz band available. In addition, 2 BTSs in Łomża, Owocowa and 55 Zawadzka on each aggregation of 4 LTE bands, while LTE2600 is still working on a 20MHz band. After the tests, I will write how to get the 200GB offer for PLN 50 / month instead of the B818 for PLN 229, as in the salons for PLN 229, is a 19 LTE router with 4CC CA. Worth PLN 900, it is owned by PLAY for a nominal fee.
I love these "tips" to get cable or Neostrade without even checking the location on Google, full-fledged "professionalism".

    Thanks for the answers.
Unfortunately, there is no cable - neither telephone, let alone optical fiber. The only option is LTE.
Matek451, please tell me, can I use a normal PLAY card to check the range with the application? I have a subscription phone from this operator.

But this is a test made in RK Orange and not in PLAY, turn off RK on the phone, test outside. In Orange it is a misery on LTE800 from BTS Networks on TON Łomża, the signal is very weak but this is normal because NW is practically non-existent with you.

Outdoor test? Connection with BTS-EM Łomza -Owocowa on LTE1800, signal very weak but good speeds, LTE2100 and LTE800 also arrives, no signal on LTE2600. Tests showed that PLAY should be OK, Owocowa is a BTS 5GR powered by fiber with 4 CC CA. The optimal router is a B818 that supports such aggregation and an external Dual LTE 1800-2600MHz antenna for it. 200GB for PLN 50 / month and B818 for PLN 229 for ownership, for this purpose contact DB at https://forumplay.pl/showthread.php/55333-Internet-bez-limitu-GB-(200)-z- device% C4% 85dzaniem-Promotion / page38 and you write to PW with them, proven people, you will not get such a promotional offer anywhere for such a price with b818, the router itself is worth PLN 900.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the help.
I contacted play - they offer me ZTE WF 830, apparently this equipment will work better than the B818.
    Is it true?

An additional question is whether the B818 has the ability to connect an external antenna to it?

And who did you contact on PLAY? Because what they were telling you is this crap you regret to hear, they have no idea about the WF83O. On the PLAY forum, people who have problems with it try to get help on its topic, none of them got any and it is me who solves these problems for them. The equipment is good, but it has a wide-angle antenna with a gain of about 5dBi and it works well, but at distances up to 3-4 km from the BTS. Your outdoor tests showed no signal at 2600MHz and a weak signal at 1800MHz from Owocowa, there is no compromise here, you will need an effective antenna for 1800-2600MHz with high gain up to B818.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding the best LTE internet provider for a user living in a rural area with GPS coordinates 53.114623, 22.148562. The user faces challenges due to the absence of local radio or cable internet providers, leaving LTE as the only viable option. Recommendations include testing various LTE providers, particularly Play and Orange, using specific applications to assess signal strength and speed. Users shared experiences with different setups, including the use of external antennas to improve connectivity. The Play network is noted for its better coverage in the area, with suggestions to use a Play SIM card for testing.
