    Hello,

I live in the countryside and I would like to use the LTE Internet of the Play network, but unfortunately I don't have coverage at all, sometimes only 2G catches. I live in the vicinity of these coordinates: 50.594190 23.148751 50?35'39.08 '' N 23?08'55.50 '' E. Which antenna and modem should I choose to make LTE work? Price good as if it closed to PLN 400.

Thanks for your help, best regards.

And why Play? This operator has problematic coverage on both 3G and LTE. the nearest BTS in Krasnobród. there are licenses for LTe1800, LTE2100 and LTE800 but it's difficult to say if it works LTE800. UMTS2100 is definitely working on 3G but LTE900 is also hard to say. This is not the operator for this location. The location is difficult, you have to do tests on the LTE / 3G phone outside with the Network Cell Info application. Personally, I would bet on Orange and T-Mobile, which have LTe coverage from NetWorks.

Outside, I do not catch any network, and I just care about play because it is from this network that I have unlimited LTE internet for PLN 50 for 3 months, and I need just unlimited internet because I use about 150gb of internet per month on average. So I have to understand that there is no chance for internet from play in this place?

To use DIL you must have LTE coverage in Play and it does not cost PLN 50 for 3 months, you can have RWK on the RBM card on Card 5 and the cost is top-up for PLN 30 and then PLN 5 / month. You did some Orange LTe / 3G tests, T-Mobile you have the results. These operators have LTE1800 NetWorks on BTS Bondyrz, and LTE800 on BTS in Feliksówka and Wólka Wieprzecka. There is probably only LTE800 license in Bondyrz. On 3G coverage from Wólka and Bondyrza to UMTS900 HSPA + NetWorks. Everyone also has UMTS2100 HSPA + DC on them. Orange card for testing PLN 5, registration in the salon, you provide your address details and you have a bonus of 100GB / month. T-Mobile cards with 20GB are free for testing. Ultimately, of course, you choose Orange, you buy a card on Allegro for PLN 100 and on it 1410GB for several months http://allegro.pl/1410-gb-internet-na-karte-orange-free-wieczne-lte-i6854716851.html

It just so happens that I have such an offer for over 2 years and it costs me 50 PLN for 3 months without any limit, I went through the router over 3TB together, that's why I care about Play, but after all Orange is more profitable. Tomorrow I will be there and I will try to do tests using the Network Cell Info application for Orange and T-Mobile. Thanks for the tips

Today I checked the orange and play networks. Being in Krasnobród connected me with the receiver in Bondyrz, as for oragne, when I forced 4G I could not connect to the LTE transmitter only once switched me to 3G +. Being 700m from the house which I marked on one of the photos connects me to the LTE network from Play, the range of 3 lines, but it is not able to locate the transmitter, shows the transmitters at a distance of 70km. I tried to restart the phone and eat to around this place but still the application was unable to locate the transmitter. I post pictures, I ask for advice on what to buy in order for it to work :)

OK thanks. Tell me how to buy a modem so that everything is as stable as possible and there is the least chance that the network will be broken, but the price does not play a major role, but of course if with it increases performance.

Can you recommend a modem to me? Since I would like to get Internet access as soon as possible, maybe the modem itself will catch the range and I will buy the antennas later

I bought a huawei b315 modem, along with two small external antennas in the set, I have LTE range with play - 95dbm, the Internet is receiving good, but I'm afraid that in bad weather conditions I will have an unstable connection, which antenna should I choose in my case?

LTE 2100 can't connect at all.
LTE 1800 connects but the internet does not work.
    LTE 800 works.
I put speedtest with LTE 800 and ping from the program, I will add that it connects to the modem via wifi.

Modem at home, small antennas outside the window on the windowsill, they do not increase power, the modem as I put on the windowsill had the same signal strength, but now allow me to use the internet.

I read a little and wonder if it would be possible to download the signal from LTE1800 and 800 in MIMO technology? Is this something right to exist?

If you can tell me what antenna will work best in my conditions, and where it is best to buy it ;)

Put B315 out the window, do signal and speed tests on LTe800 and LTE1800, show screenshots. You need to check if you have a chance on LTE1800 with an external antenna.

    After displaying outside the window:

LTE 1800 detects a signal, but it takes over 2 minutes to load a page with a speed test.
LTE 800 still works as it should.
After choosing LTE-Advanced in the program the internet does not work at all (I do not know if it matters)

I put pictures from the program and speedtest:

Signal parameters outside on LTE1800 properly exclude proper operation. Dual LTE 1800 MHz antenna will improve it by about 10-12dB but the obtained parameters (RSRP about -110dBm) do not guarantee stability. As for the LTE800, with a 800MHz antenna you will get RSRP around -100dBm, i.e. sufficient parameters and it should be stable and the speeds should increase. The decision as to which LTe band to play on Play is up to you, which is your choice of antenna.

He decides on stability or LTE 800, what exactly antenna do you recommend? The price does not play a major role, it is important that FV is available and the price goes with performance. I will add that during the last 48h on LTE 800 I have never lost my connection, so it should be the same with real antennas.

The recommended antenna for LTE800 is ATK-10 / 800-980 http://www.dipol.com.pl/antena_gsm_10-element..._800-980_mhz_10_m_przewodu_wtyk_sma_A7017.htm Because Play uses MIMO, two pieces are necessary, one in vertical polarization (vertical elements) , the other in horizontal. It has SMA connectors to B315 immediately. The cable can be shorter to reduce losses on it. Possibly stronger http://www.dipol.com.pl/antena_gsm_20-element...-850-960_mhz_10_m_przewodu_wtyk_sma_A7027.htm but this is a piece of antenna 10m long and requires a solid attachment, the more so also 2 pieces. You can also use these antennas for LTE800 in Orange or T-Mobile.

Thank you very much for your help, on Tuesday when I get the antennas I will tell what and how :-)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around finding a suitable LTE antenna and modem for accessing the Play network in a rural area with limited coverage. The user initially expresses frustration with poor connectivity, primarily receiving 2G signals. Several participants suggest that Play may not be the best option due to its problematic coverage in the area, recommending alternatives like Orange and T-Mobile. The user emphasizes the need for unlimited internet at a low cost, which Play offers. After conducting tests, the user finds some LTE connectivity but struggles with stability. Recommendations include using the Huawei B315 modem and specific antennas like the ATK-10 for LTE800, which is noted to provide better stability and performance. The discussion highlights the importance of testing signal strength and the potential benefits of using MIMO technology with dual antennas.
