    Hello,
I have a problem with Sony's tuner, it's only playing in mono! The intensity of the field at max! STEREO can not be switched on at any station. Do you know what's happening to him?

I had something similar in a different hauler - I was clinging to literally everything and I could not get what it is - it turned out that there was no one ending (jumper) in the area of the chip from the IF.

You could tell me which jumper do you want? I have one place for jumper, but after inserting it is the same ...

maybe buddy vegetarian123 will write if the tuner stops at the stations during automatic tuning because the frequent cause is a delicate disarming of the discriminator filter fm

Unfortunately, when searching for a station automatically, it does not stop ... what is the filter's fault?

probably the discriminator filter has disappeared to you unfortunately, there is no pattern of this tyrant and I can not say which one you can have a camera and you can send a picture of the agent that would help

so it seems to me that the filter of the discriminator is tan marked in black in the picture you need to choose a good screwdriver to connect the tuner to set the frequency of the known station and gently screw in the core sometimes need 1/4 turn but sometimes you need to screw in more it screwed up so that it's stereo but you have to be very careful because as the core will break the beret with the antenna but sometimes the capacitor in the filter has lost the value so much that it does not help tuning you need to replace the capacitor (but it's hard to say what is the value or replace the whole filter

Tuning the filter of the discriminator also does not help anything, although it improved torche reception quality, but stereo still does not light up :( Replacing the capacitor also did not give anything! Maybe you still have any ideas ?? for any suggestions in advance thanks !!

Which capacitor did you replace ?? because in principle the capacitor is built into the filter and here is the whole problem and this is not an ordinary capacitor it must be a styroflexer, please specify what type of circuit is next to this filter will make sure that this filter is sitting on a similar problem in the tuner pioneer and I assume 2 type of capacitor, and it's true that the stereo is going but after 15 minutes the capacitor slightly changes the value and the filter is slightly suppressed and the first rds and then the stereo

Have you managed to solve the above problem?
How do you insert the capacitor into the cup?

Well, I was able to do stereo in this tuner. And the matter turned out to be very simple. There is a connector on the spit (at least in my picture I marked it with a pink frame) and you should set the discriminator equally 0V on this connector and everything returns to normal.

I dig up the topic, because this tuner just today fell into my paws with a problem in the thread.

This "field intensity" overload is a problem.

We set the band manually on which there is definitely a stereo signal.
-trymerek marked as "FN TUNE" we turn to the left resistance / that the signal strength bars go down, not important /
    - turn the filter "black" (marked on the photo above) left-right until the desired stereo signal appears
    - go back to the trimmer, turn right to the limit of breaking the stereo signal / the bar rises /, gently (!) when it breaks micromically back to the left until the stereo flashs again
    - if we know that the broadcast signal of the station in a given area is strong and we think that the signal bar should be at the max, then we are looking for the trimmer at which stands "signal" and ..... we :) .
I know that with the cable I have a max signal, but I have set it so that the highest post slightly appears and disappears, twitching. Stereo game.

And on this "pink" proceeding according to the above regulations, by turning the filter I could not get 0V, after a few moments and any tensions appear there.

PS Obvious to filming, we do not use metal tips.
I tore a screwdriver from a lollipop stick.
    Best regards and nice reception.
