    Hello!
I wanted to install Windows, everything was fine until I had to select the disk on which I wanted to install it, it didn't show any disk, not even a pendrive.
The disk is an SSD in UEFI, it is visible, but when I enter the BIOS boot tab, I can only choose UEFI SHELL and a pendrive with the System.

The laptop model is: Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54-51DL
Any ideas? Is it possible that the hard drive driver is missing?

During the system installation, when you go to the selection of media installation, press shift + F10, a console will appear, run diskpart, convert the disk to GPT, there are plenty of topics on the Internet.

I have a problem that when I open list disk in the command line, my second disk is not displayed. The bios detects it and it is assigned to a volume and a letter

Download the driver from the manufacturer's website: IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver and install it during the Windows installation.
The disk should then be visible in the installer.

What kind of SSD drive do you have, please provide the name (full name)
What Win do you want to bet?

    NVMe PCIe M.2 or SATA3

Since you have UEFI, try to install Windows 10 (or Win8) using UEFI-boot from a pendrive
    * about other Wins.....forget it.

Standard (store) flash files are in (MBR)

so that the USB flash drive always appears in the Boot list - you need... the USB flash drive must be converted to GPT, then formatted to Fat32, and then manually copy the contents of the Windows ISO.

How to make a GPT USB flash drive
    Spoiler:
    GPT flash drive did so:
    Command Line
    1.
    Diskpart
    listdisk
sel disk x (the number (X) of the flash drive in the list)
    clean
    convert gpt
    create part primary
    format fs=fat32 quick
    assign
    exit
    exit
    2.
Unpack the ISO archive in the 7ZIP archiver
Copy the contents of the Windows 8-10 archive to a GPT flash drive

The Acer Nitro 5 model series - AN515-31, AN515-41, AN515-51 and others have... a lot of problems

    Hello
    There is an easier way
We enter the BIOS, go to the second tab - press ctrl si, enable hidden settings - disable the WMD controller, save the BIOS settings. We turn on the Windows installation and the disk is now visible :)
