    Only at 4K there may be slight fps drops compared to if the board had PCIe 4.0, and already noticeable at 8K. But you probably won't be playing at that resolution :)

    Yes, although there are some exceptions. AMD has cut back on the PCI-E lanes and the RX 5500 and RX 6400/6500XT cards have fewer of them, which slows down communication with the rest of the machine and ends up with game drops. In some cases, you can lose up to 25-30% of your performance. In other cases, the differences are negligible.
