Hello everyone, I have a problem with JBL 500BT wireless headphones, namely the headphones started playing quietly despite the volume set to the maximum on both the phone and the headphones.

Hello, I also have this problem with headphones. Did you have any crackling problems before playing more quietly? Maybe the amplifier is damaged, I have to collect them and see what`s there, it`s a pity because they played very nicely

My brother gave me these headphones in this condition and I was supposed to repair them, but I couldn`t find a solution to this problem anywhere on the Internet. If you find a way to fix it, let me know.

In my opinion, there may be a bad contact between the transmitting handset and the receiving handset. As far as I know, they have the cable between the headphones placed in the strap above the head. I would look for a problem here :D

But if there is bad contact between the headphones, I think that the transmitting headphones should produce sound normally.

Oh, I actually didn`t think about it. Look at the speaker diaphragms. Maybe they didn`t survive hard bass xD

Well, what if there was something with the membranes, what should I do? I probably won't get separate parts for these headphones

You need to carry out a diagnosis, i.e. check if there is any visible damage on the membrane, if there is no damage, unsolder the speaker and solder it to the jack output and turn on the music. If it plays correctly, it is possible that the amplifier is dead, but if the speaker does not work, you can try to use the receiver to build a DIY wireless speaker. It's hard to find speakers for JBL wireless headphones. You can also use a speaker from another company with the same impedance and power. Greetings.
