Check the supply voltage on legs 3 and 2 of both GML. Swap the wires at points 41 and 42 on the power amplifier board. This will help diagnose tips and PW.

Why should I change wires at points 41 and 42?

I had a dirty input selection switch. My left channel was completely cut off.

Replacing the wires in places will help to locate the location of the problem - PW or the terminal.

Topic summary

The user reports an issue with their Elizabeth Hi-Fi system, specifically that the right channel has stopped functioning. They have already replaced the power amplifier board with a known working GLM 026 and checked the headphone plug for faults. Suggestions from other users include checking the supply voltage on specific legs of the GML, swapping wires at points 41 and 42 on the power amplifier board to help diagnose the issue, and considering a dirty input selection switch as a potential cause. The discussion also touches on the importance of swapping rather than changing wires to locate the problem effectively.
