I need help preferably in the form of a link to some specific example of how to set up my own WebSocket server on my hosting (I already have the hosting and domain). The question is whether to use PHP or JS for this, and how to connect it all to the ESP8266 so that I have two-way communication between the ESP and the server. In the future I will add a dedicated smartphone app to send data to the server, but for now the ability to communicate from a browser is enough. Anyone have any ideas and willingness to help?
