PXE oil message. It only appeared because the computer did not detect the system on the hard drive, so it bitches it in other places. You tried booting from the network.
Enter the Bios and switch the boot source to disk (first). If you have not installed the system on it yet, you need to create a system installer on a pendrive, connect it to the computer and in the same place in the BIOS switch the boot source to this pendrive.

In this case, nothing, because everything is fine. It`s just that there is no operating system on this disk, I mean, just inserted a new one. You just need to install it. What would you like and do you have the key to it?

Well, to have Windows 10 you need to buy a key for it. You can probably handle this.

If your friend inserted a "new" disk, it is logical that the computer will not boot from it, especially since there is no operating system on the disk.
You need to download (or buy) the OS and install it.

I downloaded Windows 10 and copied it to a pendrive and everything works fine from the pendrive to the computer

Topic summary

The Lenovo G70 laptop encountered a "Media test failure, check cable" error after the user replaced the hard disk. The issue arose because the new disk did not have an operating system installed. To resolve this, it was advised to enter the BIOS and set the boot priority to the disk or a USB drive containing a system installer. The user expressed a desire to install Windows 10 but lacked a product key. After downloading Windows 10 and creating a bootable USB drive, the user successfully resolved the issue and got the laptop working properly.
