Unlocking Port and Retrieving Admin Password for Forweb Halny HL-4GMV Modem

Hello,
I have a problem with unblocking the port in the forwebu modem to configure monitoring in the company. Unfortunately, you cannot enter using the standard password. Reset ends with no access to the net and a call to the hotline. Is there any way to get the password to the admin panel?

You worry about having the best public static IP there! Because if you have a variable IP, it's an additional fun either in DDNS or some manufacturer's clouds in China. And if you only have a private IP there, then monitoring from the outside will not be available at all.

The router is only needed to connect the monitoring directly over the cable. The rest of the devices are plugged into the halny. If I enter my external IP, a message pops up to enter login details.

Added after 6 [minutes]: If you are doing it from the internal network, it may be the effect of Hairpin NAT (redirection from LAN to WAN) which may or may not mean a public IP. You would have to check it from another network (e.g. hostspot shared from the phone).

For this (as in the case of redirection) you will need: - public IP - Mountain in bridge mode - a router with a VPN behind Halne, which will serve the entire network. WiFi needed or wired? I do not recommend exposing the recorder to the outside by port forwarding. A friend entered the company (probably through Windows Remote Desktop port forwarding), encrypted the drives, and asked for 0.5 btc. This is not a story heard but a fact.

If you don't want trouble (for me, trouble = Asus, Tp-Link) you can still choose something from Ubiquiti (you haven't heard of such a company either). There is a bit easier configuration, although ... knowledge is needed here and here.

I don't think you can configure your firewall properly if you don't know what to eat it with and what "toto" is for. In Asus and Tp-link you didn't have to "worry" about it because there is some basic firewall configuration in them and "it works somehow". In the proposed equipment, however, it will not be so smooth because here you need to know a bit about the network, although the guides are there and you can try. The only question is, do you repair your shoes yourself?

However, if you insist on Tp-Link, Asus .. then look for one with a built-in VPN server (I know they exist) and play with it, and the knife will succeed and it will work reasonably well. You don't have too many requirements.
