    Hello.

I have been gathering for a long time or writing here at all, but reading the topics I can see that I will not get it myself, because I am too stupid in this topic. I would like to add that the whole of the following use is due to the lack of access to the fiber or any cable Internet (except orange 10Mb / 1mb).

    The case is as follows:
I have several services for the company in the corporation mentioned in the topic. I always felt like they were fucking me, but I didn't have the energy to fight them somehow. But now they have completely bent the truncheon, openly cheating. I have two telephones with them, one is in Magenta business and a separate service for mobile internet (let's call it for the purposes of the internet 1 topic). This internet was an extension of the old contract, as they offered "unlimited" internet for data and download / upload speeds on T-Mobile in their business services. This internet kind of worked, I was kind of happy, but after some time it always got totally weak, I never chose to do that. A TV is also attached to it.

To magenta biznes, after some time they offered me internet (let's call internet 2), I took 200Mb / s with "unlimited" data. Everything was fine, in games where I used to ping 60, suddenly it was 30-35. 4Mbps download. Speedtest was 40D / 20U. Suddenly it turned out that the internet no-limit data / speed is much slower than the internet with a limitation of 200Mb / s (I never counted on such speed). But the girl works from home and her internet contract with play ends, which has always worked in vain. Besides, it is a 100gb package, which is simply not enough when you sit at the zooms from morning to evening. In T-Mobile there is an option for magenta business to choose a second internet as an additional contract for a much lower rate. ie PLN 30 / month where the first service is PLN 90. Internet, an important thing for me. So I decided that everyone should conveniently take another internet connection for a girl because they would not get such an offer for a private person (i.e. there is internet 3). And I extended the internet 1, unlimited, also connecting it to Magenta. For all this, I took the Huawei Prime 3 (for all three internet sites). And it started ...

T-Mobile has sworn that each of the services has a separate sim card and does not affect each other. Which, empirically checking, is not true. As long as I had internet 1 as a separate service it actually wasn't a problem. Now, even by including a stupid speedtest on one computer connected to the internet 1, the service for internet 2 or 3 slows down completely, you can see it especially in games. As ping suddenly jumps to 1k. Normal use also bothers.

Of course, I called them several times, until finally some consultant told me that there was a provision in the contract that if the transmitter used by many people is loaded, the people with the highest data transfer have speed limits. Of course, no one informs you about it, saying that there is an offer of 200Mb / s with unlimited data. Referring to this offer, I have heard many times that it is an offer UP to 200Mb / s and no one promised that I would have that much.

    1. Each of these internet sites as I do speedtest has 25-40mb / s download and 5-20upload. Apparently as much as before this alleged limitation, and the performance, especially in online games like cs: go or cod warfare, is noticeably weak. are there any other factors that i can check somehow affecting the games? It's clearly on their side.

    2. I have connected Play to the one that has a data limitationup to 100gb to the same router, where t-mobile from the beginning gave me 40u / 20d and suddenly it's 100d / 10-15up. It seems to me that the same transmitter is used.

    3. How can I check if my internet speed is limited? Is it possible to check with some range measurements, if I have a speed of up to 200mb / s, then in a given place, if not for restrictions, it should be faster?

I feel totally cheated. I feel like someone told me that he invites me to work, earnings up to 20,000 a month and then I would get 3. How can you call the internet unlimited with a specific speed and then free someone's internet because he has 400gb of downloaded data in a given billing cycle ?! why is something like this even legal? it's more fair to just data limits, which are exactly the same.

I can resign from internet 1, which is connected to magenta business + internet 3, because 14 days have not passed yet. But the procedure itself makes me angry the day before yesterday. I want to raze these scammers to the ground.

Has anyone come across something similar on this network and, for example, found a solution?

Thanks for any answers, hope you understand everything.

    Regards.

In accessing the Internet in GSM / LTE technology, shared resources of the BTS base station are used together with other users. That's why it is on the contract
reported speed up to X Mb / s.
If there are several people within the reach of this BTS, each can draw their maximum limit from the contract. If there are several thousand of these people, your speed will be poor.
Therefore, before signing a contract for the Internet, you should search for an operator with the fastest and least loaded BTS in the area.
Read the posts by mothers451 and others on how to carry out BTS reach and load tests of various operators. Only on this basis, you can choose an operator, choose a router and possibly external antennas.

An example of a similar problem:

I will check this topic. For me, sharing is as clear as sunshine. The problem is that I got clear information that the link, which should be unlimited (to the extent that it is divided at a given moment as you say by the number of people you use), has a blockade imposed by T-mobile, which results from the number of the data I downloaded. So the internet like unlimited works on the terms specified in the contract (the so-called small print) with a specific data limit, and even worse because this entry shows that they find out when the transmitter is loaded and when they impose a restriction on me (not even me informing). There is also a record that this restriction lasts until the end of the billing period, and then it supposedly unlocks. But looking at how internet 1 used to work (data nolimit, no speed limit), when it broke (i.e. I conclude that they imposed these restrictions on me) it was never the same again.

I do not believe in such a coincidence that just when I chose the services to the same tariff, I suddenly have a problem with the Internet, which was not there before this operation. In addition, I wander like a child in the fog because all these parameters and how it works are not clear to me. Hence this topic.

I have followed the topic you provided. Unfortunately, I can't add my results there, I will attach them here. At 2600MHz, there is no range at all on the router. The same is true at 1800MHz, but when I try to measure, I think the BTS changes every now and then because there are 3 lines once, then 2, then 0 and so on from time to time. Even speedtest at 1800 is barely doable because it hangs after the download test.

Well, here are measurements from the same router, from the same place in the house, only the card is inserted from the Internet with play. He shows me on the map that BTS is in the same place, on Jerusalem Avenue.

I also took measurements from the second sim card in T-mobile and it looks like the same measurement as in the first screenshots. The router in the same place, only on this card, there was neither a connected TV nor anything downloaded (i.e. I assume that there is no restriction that is mentioned in T-Mobile). When I turn on CS: GO on one internet it is ping 35, and when I do it on the other, the ping jumps to 60 and has jumps to 200. How is it possible that these things do not come out on the measurements in the game, right?

I'm not a heavy user. For the first time since using their services, I downloaded 2 times the coda which weighed 100gb updates, so it came out 400gb. And the other internet uses the TV.

You know, I understand that you have to share. But it is a scam that someone gives you unlimited data but it is limited. Fortunately, I can give up two internet connections and I will.

    Quote:
You would have to know if the connection is in both cases from the same BTS (eNB id) and on the same bands. Otherwise, the comparison may not make sense again.

Well, both internet sites are one and the internet is the same. One is the mother of the internet in magenta business, the other is the same independent net with a separate sim card. I would like to add that on the Internet, where there is a problem now, there was no one before choosing these two services for this one tariff), how can I check it? where do these lags come from?

Does it work for BTS to show me speedtest the same values as before the problem, but the limitation is BTS-T-mobile, not BTS-My location? Sorry when I talk nonsense, but I'm trying to get it somehow.

The router is quite expensive Huawei 3 Prime (B818-263). I have 3 of them now, separately for each internet. I care so much for a good internet without disruptions.

Play offers 500GB with an external antenna for rent. I guess in this case it would be worth rethinking, since it works better there, right?

The transfer limitation for you are base stations in which you are within range:
    - eNB 181193 is a short-range omnidirectional antenna at Alpejska 42 (Institute of Cardiology) and LTE is only in the 2100 by 10 MHz band (in the 15 MHz plans), so currently you will not get more than about 70 Mb / s from it
    - eNB 280335 is a station at Mrówcza 243, more overloaded and much further, so additionally the transfer is reduced by a generally weak signal (2600 - 15 MHz + 2100 - 10 MHz + 1800 - 10 MHz + 800 - 10 MHz)

    - eNB 5256 Play you catch from ul. Żegańska 1 (chimney of the Międzylesie Heat Plant) and has 4 LTE bands (2600 - 20 MHz + 2100 - 15 MHz + 1800 - 15 MHz + 800 - 5 MHz)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around user experiences and concerns regarding T-Mobile's Magenta Business services, particularly focusing on the limitations of "unlimited" mobile internet plans. Users express frustration over perceived throttling and restrictions imposed by T-Mobile after reaching certain data thresholds, despite the marketing of these plans as unlimited. Technical explanations highlight that internet speeds are affected by the number of users connected to the same base transceiver station (BTS) and the inherent limitations of LTE technology. Participants suggest conducting BTS reach and load tests to select a more reliable operator and discuss the implications of contract terms that allow for such limitations. The conversation also touches on the challenges of high bandwidth overselling and the need for better transparency from service providers.
