    Hello,

I recently had my meter replaced at PGE.
    Two-way counter GAMA 350.
The technicians wrote down the IP and the key on it.
After the icons, I can see that the meter has some network/GSM coverage.

Is there any possibility to read network (from the Internet?) this data?
Anyone know how it works in PGE?

Yes, PGE has remote access for reading and the user has only what is on the screen.

There should also be a dedicated application for the recipient, something like the e-counter application in Tauron.

In the case of this information, it is worth asking the seller or operator whether it is possible to provide reading data.
In my RD there is an application called My Counter which you can log in via the website.

    I'm just following the topic.
I have recently changed my tariff from G11 to G12w and consequently PGE has replaced my meter with an "APATOR OTUS 3".
I asked about the possibility of remote reading of the meter by the user, the gentleman said that there is such a possibility on request, but he needs "the necessary to decode the data transmitted via the wireless M-Bus 868 MHz interface of the remote reading meter"- unfortunately I can't find anything like that on the Internet, and at PGE they said that they can't suggest any device for me. They limited themselves to stating "smart home".
Is anyone able to provide links as to what I should buy so that I don't have to fly to the meter but read it on my smartphone/computer?

@djadamus1111 I happen to have bought myself such a meter as a sub-meter for a heat pump.
It reads the number of kWh consumed, but you can't set tariffs, i.e. I don't know in which tariff how much electricity was consumed.

The meter has a data bus into which any interface can be fitted. (USB/rs485/GSM). So they have disposed of you with silly talk.
The easiest way is over USB (probably RS232 emulation, or over 485).
Only you have to write this application and get along with the jerks....

You can find a receiver on 868Mhz under the name, Receiver wM-Bus 868MHz Home Assistant (olx).

But it won't be as pretty...

I'd steer clear of the radio, and write an application for some USB/485, as you'll have that down in 20 minutes.

I'm not either, and if you're not I wouldn't push any radio.
You can't read the data without a key (after all, the meter can't broadcast your consumption openly into the ether).

The meter has the possibility of fitting another interface, (cable).

If you think it's going to be so simple that you download a wonderful app to your phone and it will work - then no, it won't. It can clearly transmit by cable at most. (USB/rs232) but you probably won't ask for such an insert to be installed.

And for this you just need a password, what he wrote back to you laconically that on request you might get a key to download the meter data via mbus.

Topic summary

The PGE GAMA 350 two-way electricity meter supports remote reading capabilities via network or GSM connectivity. Users receive an IP address and key for access, but direct internet reading options are limited to what is displayed on the meter screen. Remote data access typically requires a dedicated application provided by the utility operator, similar to Tauron's e-counter or the "My Counter" web application. The meter features Wireless M-Bus communication for local data transmission, which complies with the 2022 Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment decree mandating encrypted communication interfaces for household remote reading meters. For enhanced monitoring, additional external devices such as Wi-Fi energy meters compatible with DIN rails can be integrated.
