    Yes, you are right, there is only a description and explanation of the controller firmware. But there is no binary working file of the software for communication - there is no EVSW. I have never found it anywhere, but it exists, I have screenshots with its window.
    If you can find the real EVSW software - download it here. I would like to have the program too, just in case. ))

    But you can try to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable packages (x64) or (x32), depending on the system.
