Dear Roman, thank you for your reply. Sorry, I just wanted to keep it simple in case Google translates something badly

Anyway, what I meant was, the machine produces watery coffee, not very strong in general (neither in taste nor in effect). I have tried all the various available settings - grind size, dark coffee, water temperature, but none of those produce a satisfying outcome. We use a Delonghi Icona in general, which is a LOT cheaper machine and from that the coffee (from factory pre-ground coffee) is creamy, has got some nice 'thickness' to it and is stronger too. As the Krups was a present from my father, I would like to keep it, hence the reason I am looking for a solution to this problem. If I could lengthen the grind time (currently 8 seconds for dark coffee) and/or the tamping strength, that should give me some extra options to try.
Thanks!
Gabriel
