    Hello...
    I need those experienced in this subject to help me solve a problem.
    I have five momentary buttons. When any one or more of them were pressed on the first nodemcu it was signalled remotely via my own wi-fi or home network on the second nodemcu board with leds.
    For those unfamiliar with these boards, it's certainly a breeze.

    Thanks for the hint. When my PRC tiles arrive I will upload what you suggested. Unfortunately the current boards were damaged by my son.
    In the meantime, I will read about diode lighting .

    I have finally received the plates.
    I managed to do what I set out to do. There were some problems with the code. One worked incompletely, another hung up every now and then.
    I managed to upload the code and modify it slightly.
