We want to order an American toilet to our house in Europe.
Since this is something that needs to be specifically ordered, I have a few questions, I was hoping you American Experts could help with.
First of all, I need a rear outlet toilet. It can be wall hung.
Questions:
- The models I've seen (with rear outlet) all seem to look like a European washdown design, rather than the Siphonic design. Is this true?
- Assuming a two-piece toilet - Are the tanks in America standardized? Or do I need to get one from the same manufacturer as the bowl? Why are they sold separately?
- In regards to the outlet - Is there an adapter for the toilet outlet to standard 110mm PVC pipe?
Also, if someone from Europe has done this - Are there any shops here stocking these toilets or is it an 'order from US' only? Can't believe I'm the only European wanting to order one such beauty ;-)
