I have fixed a few tools and was considering purchasing a non-working Makita Angle Grinder like the DGA506. Has anyone been successful in repairing the stator controller board:

There are a few options available it seems. Getting to the original board covered with black epoxy seems like a mission impossible, or maybe I am wrong? I'm wondering about other people's experiences with such plans
Replacing it with the original Makita part is not cost-efficient as it's too close to the new tool's value.Thank you in advance
