Parkside PWS 125 F5 angle grinder - starts as if the regulator was set to, for example, 3 when it is at 6. When cutting, it regains power but does not respond to potentiometer settings. I noticed that it is "sooted" in one place. Does such a regulator have a SOFT-start because I am thinking about bridging it (I will get rid of the speed regulation, which is unnecessary for me). What could possibly be damaged?

You didn't need to undress it, because if you bought it recently, in Lidl or in some other supermarket, they usually don't bother with returns. Condition, buy the same product.

Neither related to the subject nor the invention of the wheel. That's my advice ;/
Is this an electrical forum or a "Mr. Good Advice" forum?

I just changed the grease on the grinder. In addition, for PLN 99, it has already earned itself twice.

In my grinder, the 8-pin system is damaged. Does anyone know what because the symbols are thoroughly worn off and you can't see anything.

In the end, I loosened the regulator, bridged the wires and the grinder is working.
