My brother-in-law interferes with the signal this way when he trains outside. I've tested doing it with a laptop and it also works, but somehow it goes weaker. The music will interrupt every few seconds and play again. I'll be honest, it's hard to stand it and someone will probably smash the speaker against the wall.
