[Solved] How do I extend the WiFi range for the Sonoff gate controller?

Hi,

I have connected the Sonoff ministerial together with the Wifi antenna to the drive of the entrance gate.
The antenna has about 5 - 6 dB range boost, I should add that it is a small antenna with a 1 metre cable.
It appears, however, that the Wifi signal at the place of the drive (because the controller is located there) is zero.
My question is, is there any way (reapeter, signal amplifier) to increase the Wifi signal so that it reaches the controller, or maybe look for a better antenna to replace the one I currently have?
I should also add that after all the configuration and connection I can control the gate from a smartphone, but if I am in the vicinity of the controller, that is defacto the gate

I solved the problem by moving the controller to the electrical cupboard in the garage and there I already have wi-fi coverage.
