    Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the adml module for c4 2022. The old adml module had a problem and now I need a new one, the new one cannot be delivered from the factory for 8 long months. I took a used one, but I don't have the option to change the vin number with the original program. Is there any way to make the change? OE 1685540880

Hello on is the module? processor? memory? Once it's read, it's probably possible to change the VIN in the .bin file.

Hello everyone, just to let you know the solution to my problem. I moved the processor under the code 10493 and solved the chassis rewrite. Later programmed with the original to my own settings. Solved it works.

Topic summary

The discussion addresses the challenge of changing the VIN on a used ADML module for a 2022 C4 vehicle, specifically OE part number 1685540880. The original ADML module was faulty, and a new one from the factory has an 8-month delivery delay, prompting the use of a used module. The main issue is the inability to change the VIN using the original programming software. Suggestions include reading the module’s memory or processor and modifying the VIN directly in the .bin file. The solution involved moving the processor under code 10493 to enable chassis number rewriting, followed by programming the module with the original settings, which resolved the problem. Additional technical details include requests for photos of module stickers and pinouts, and notes on module versions (e.g., version I). Some users reported difficulties such as the module not responding after reinstallation or issues with reading the module data.
