CAN home network (smart home).
I have two questions
.
1. can I plug devices based on TJA1050 and SN65HVD230 into one network? (the boards have different power supplies and I don't know if this affects the H and L lines, and if so, I don't know if it matters)
2. i want to create some custom circuits based on esp (using esphome) and i don't know which transceiver is generally better for smart home applications. I would be grateful for a hint.
P.S..
I'm still thinking about modbus, but there is a master/slave circuit there and I don't know how I would interface this with the switches, i.e. how is the slave supposed to let the master know that it has changed state etc.?
