Hi. I have a Siemens TE603201RW/09 coffee maker. Recently it started displaying "Let the machine cool down" even if I never used it that day. It refuses to make any coffee. Did anyone come across this error? The repairman wants 230 euros to change its board, and I'm resisting! I opened up the machine, the grinding motor is fine, if I apply 18 volts to it, it turns. The board appears fine, with its connectors non-corroded.
AI: Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far, like resetting the machine or checking for blockages? I have cleaned the machine, disassembled and checked the board and contacts, checked and cleaned the grinding motor AI: How old is your coffee maker, and has it had any previous issues or repairs? About 5 years old. I once repaired its main board because some ants had short-circuited it! but it worked fine afterwards for years.
