P 18TB SATA Drive Compatibility with ProLiant Gen8/Gen9/Gen10?

I’ve checked HPE’s documentation but am seeking real-world feedback on 18TB drive compatibility, especially for Gen8/Gen9.
AI: Which specific ProLiant Gen8, Gen9, and Gen10 models are you looking to use with the 18TB SATA drives?
The models (DL380p Gen8, DL380 Gen9, DL380 Gen10), I can update it to reflect the exact server models and controllers (P420i, P440ar, S100i SR) for more targeted community feedback. The current post already includes these details, but I can streamline it further if needed.
AI: What storage controller(s) and firmware versions are you planning to use with these drives (e.g., Smart Array P420i, P440ar, etc.)?

The limitation is not the disk but the array you build of them.
In IT mode you pass information about the disk to the system so there is essentially no limitation. Similarly, it can be in raid 0 on a single drive.
But e.g. in raid 5 mode the limit can be the magic 25 TB because more firmware of the controller cannot handle it. Google says that raid 1 on 2x18TB will work, but about bigger ones ( from more disks ) silence.

Personally I ended the adventure with HP raid on 900GB disks :) .

On the gen9 I have RAID5 (application specific) on 6x16TB. It works without any problems.
On 18TB drives I have not yet tested.
