Pulse dialer

I need an FIFO storage for when push button before last pulses completed it can save numbers and make pulses respectively.
(I am undergraduate student and need this for my logic circuits course project so it must be as easy as it can.)

I doubt someone will do your homework for you here, but if you ask the right questions: be specific, show some effort and thought, you will probably learn something.

What approach are you thinking about taking with this project? I am still a bit confused as to what you have been asked to design?

As Cody said, you need to to your own homework else you won't learn the material.

We can, however, help you learn specific things you are stuck on. Your question is very broad and unclear. What is your overall strategy and what specifically are you stuck on. You mention something about a FIFO, but is that really the problem or is making the tones, getting the inputs, something else?

Do you know about DTMF? If not, that would be worth looking up and learning about.

It is my opinion that you must first have a introduction to FIFO memory issue, then get acquaintance of its build blocs, after all get knowledge on how to assemble your entire system.
