I'm looking for second sources for a 405nm UV LED used in production. Most UV LEDs on the market use the same resin as lower frequency LEDs and as a result have a live span (time to 50% output) of around 2000 hours. For my application this is unacceptable. I need something more like 50000 hours. This can be achieved using silicone resin or glass for the lens.
I run the LED at around 18ma, so any 405nm, 5mm part with a Max If between 20ma and 100ma and a viewing half angle between 25 and 10 degrees should do it.
I currently have three sources for UV LEDs:
* Marubeni part #: L405R-04, 5mm, Ifmax=30ma, viewing half angle=+/-20 deg
* Alpha-One part #: AUV405AAUE, Ifmax=30ma, viewing half angle=+/-10 deg
* Optek: OUE8A405Y1, 5mm, Ifmax=100ma, viewing half angle=+/-18 deg
But, I would like more, so if you know of one (or more) please let me know.
