Hello everyone,
I am a student taking up an Electrical Engineering course. In our country, after a year of studying General Electrical Engineering, one has to choose a specialization. So here is where I face my dilemma.
We have 3 branches of EE to choose:
- Power Engineering
- Electronics engineering
- Automatics and Robotics Engineering (but it's mostly Automatics from what I hear)
So, I am kind of scratched out Automatics, due to where I see me working in future or what.
So i'm stuck between POWER or ELECTRONICS Engineering and here I would need some of your advice.
- If someone could help me understand the difference between the two, that would be great! And how are the jobs in each of those branches?
It's probably hard for you to tell, because every University varies with its respective program, but I'm only asking about your opinion, about your experience if you have any.
Sadly, the university where I am in has not yet introduced to us the branches. They'll do it at the end of the year, when we need to decide. But i'd like to learn more now, than later.
Thanks!
David
