Hello everyone,
Next year, I have to chose between 3 different specialization in my study programme:
- Power Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Automatics / Robotic engineering
I'm trying to decide between Power and Electronics engineering. We do have some presentations in our school, but they ussually say the best of each, so I'm trying to get a third opinion on this Forums.
If I ask students, they mostly say "Electronics is 90% of whole Electrical Engineering, Power engineering only works with High Voltages so you have boundaries".
Now I'm considering Electronics, even though, I was for Power engineering at the start of my 1st year on faculty.
I'd like to hear some of you opinions about this two branches. How is with the jobs in each section? Is Power engineering really bound to a small field ? What about expirience in Electronics, is it better to chose this for today and next years ?
Please help me out.
David
