Hi,

I want to work in health domain. So, I had chosen the topic as designing a low cost spirometer.

What are the research challenges/current hot topics in the design of Spirometer?
Please help me to narrow down the topics.

Get information on, read up on and study, existing spirometers. Become a (slight) expert. Then see which type can be made most simply. Modern electronic sensors can improve all kinds of existing instrumentation.
