Hello

I am building a scale model wind farm with 10 Brushless DC motors. Each motor is rated 12v and 1.3 amps. Provided that I can generate 12 V on each motor, what is a realistic amount of power that I can generate after converting the voltage to 110V?

Hi Emilio,

As you have 10 motors @ 12V & 1.3A > 10 x 12V x 1.3A = 156 Watts

As > DC Watts = AC Watts, with 100% efficiency you'd have 156 Watts output... however, as you never get anything for free... Inverter Conversion Losses can range from anywhere between 60% - 95% ~ with 70% being standard... yielding 109 Watts output after conversion.
