Determine the I-V characteristics of a regulated DC current supply with its output set at 100mA (no load) and its open circuited voltage limit set at 20V.

Looking for more information on how to exactly do this.

To determine the I-V characteristics one loads the power supply at ever increasing current (up to the maximum the power supply can supply) while measuring the voltage. The load can be resistors, lamps, whatever works. Now graph the voltage on the X-axis and current on the Y-axis and you have an I-V curve.
