my teacher asked for us (max until next 5 days) to tell her :

and everything that u Surmise important about this ic that must I point it .

I read its datasheet but i didn't Understand its description. Can you please tell me in a simple Language . (for example i didn't understand schmitt trigger function & what is jitter-free output signals!!) .

Reading the papers you may find you have more questions. Google the terms you don't understand and in less than 5 days you should have gained enough knowledge to understand the 7414 datasheet.

To understand how a schmitt trigger works first Do the calculations "Biuld one a transistor version " and then move onto the cmos version followed by reading up on the 7414 by that stage you will understand exactly what a schmit trigger is and how to apply this to circuitry
