Telemecanique is a brand name! They make many devices such as switches etc.

Yes Telemecanique is a quite common brand of a wide range of everyday Mains AC voltage devices.
Their products have been readily available for 20 years at least, & my experience is that the quality is good, & the price rather better; making their products often one of the better value for money options available.
Generally " to be highly recommended".
I have no association with the company (which I believe is French).

Telemecanique has been in business since 1930, and joined some 20 years ago the Schneider Electric group, to create a world leader together with other brands like Merlin Gerin and square D, amongst others.
Its products are of course still maintained and served, the brand has been migrated to Schneider electric.
Its main product lines are contactors, variable speed drives, push buttons, PLCs .. mainly dedicated to industrial control.
