Hello everyone,
I am a graduating EE with high interest in embedded systems and I am currently working on a project and would greatly appreciate your suggestions.
I have a microcontroller that reads sensor info, however I need that info to be transmitted to a monitoring center and so therefor I need a way to connect my microcontroller to the internet (Wifi).
The data being transmitted is relatively small, maybe 1 kB per week or so and the communication is two way, a monitoring center or control center might send info back to the microcontroller that changes its functions, etc.
So to get to the point, I am looking for the most cost effective way to connect to a local area network and transmitting very low amount of data at a low rate, basically a low end network connection.
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
