    Hey!

Due to numerous problems with the ESP8266, I found that I needed to look for an alternative, but I have no experience with WiFi modules other than ESP. My requirements are not high:
    - sending and receiving simple text data in any way, once every 15 minutes
    - WPS function for easy connection to a WiFi router
    - built-in antenna, but the possibility to connect an external one would be nice
    - communication with uC via SPI (preferably)
    - ready-made libraries for the above-mentioned functions

What is your advice? I would prefer it not to be some cheap Chinese thing, but something you can rely on.

    ESP32
Or a tried and tested solution, Ethernet and AP from any manufacturer.
    Another option OrangePi ZERO.
