I am trying to find a small relay that I can use as a simple N.O. or N.C. switch. I want to make the output of the relay mirror the input, which would be a simple momentary switch. The idea is to have multiple independent relays controlled by a single master switch. Is there a simple momentary relay that would achieve this or would I be better served by some other type of circuit?
The eventual goal is to have a master Tap Tempo switch for multiple guitar effect pedals. These pedals are typically designed to have an external foot switch for each pedal. For up to three pedals, a 3-pole switch can be used. I thought a series of relays would be a good solution for more than 3 pedals.
I am not exactly sure of the specifications of the tap tempo circuit, but I believe they send a low current 9v or 5v signal through the switch. The relay would not need to handle high current.
