I have been trying to find a source for a solder cup to go onto an esc for RC car racing.

They need to be able to hold up to a 10 gauge wire. They look like the photo attached. Does anyone know where I can get these? Thanks

The top end of this appears to be a standard type of electrical solder terminal, but I cannot see what the bottom end is supposed to connect to.
As I am not familiar wit RC cars, please would you tell me what an "esc" is ?

I did a little Googling and determined that "ESC" stands for "Electronic Speed Controller":

Thanks for that Steve. I want to know if the bottom end of the terminal needs to be soldered onto the ESC, as it appears from the picture, or if there is another part in between. This would determine if another type of terminal could be substituted.

The top ot the terminal looks very much like the solder cup in, for example, 4mm meter test plugs, so if the original can't be found, perhaps a couple of those could easily be cut down to fit ?

The cup is soldered to the circuit board.
I have looked at a couple of the suggested sites.
They get close to what we need but not completely right.

If you speak to a sales rep he/she might be able to find exactly what you're looking for. I've done that before in cases where I couldn't find what I was looking for by other means.

Are you looking for connectors for the ESC? You can get these at most hobby shops.

Yes. But I am looking for production quantities. In the range of 500+ cups. That is why I am trying to find the manufacturer.

AhhSooo... you actually said "source" not "manufacturer" -- not necessarily the same thing. A 'source' is a place to acquire them [usually via a purchase]. That _can_ be the _manufacturer_ but it is more often a distributor. Sometimes the manufacturer does not _source_ what they make.

But, if you contact one or more of the _distributors_ I listed, and they locate one or more parts that fit the bill, then along with that will come the _manufacturer_
