Hi all,
i would like to know is there any device that could read the data passing through ethernet cable. note: without touching the ethernet cable.

That would be tricky to implement, since the only way - so far - to read a data without "touching" is by magnetic induction; The current flow through communication cables is so low that we would need an extremely sensible magnetometer to "read" it.

I still haven't heard about or seen any device that is ready and fully working in that matter.
